Certificate Course on Content Marketing is an approximately 3-month program with around 30 contact hours. The participants are trained on the concepts and applications of content marketing including extensive hands-on sessions. The Course is certified by Calcutta Media Institute (CMI), an ABP Group initiative. The Course is aimed at those who want to make a career in Online Content Marketing. This Course is open for people from any academic and professional background (professionals, entrepreneurs, students, homemakers, etc.) having an interest in creating and managing online content for organizations. We believe that this course will be especially beneficial for those from a background of mass communication, journalism, public relations, advertising, and liberal arts. People considering a work-from-home career option will find this course very helpful. A good grasp over a particular language is an advantage but not a necessity for taking this course.

This course is spread over approximately 3 months with around 30 contact hours. The contact hours will be delivered in approximately 15 sessions, each session being of 2-hour duration.

During the course, the faculty may ask participants to complete several in-class and take-home assignments. The participants are expected to complete these assignments on time and up-to the expected quality standard. This is a pre-requisite for completion of the course.

At the end of the course, the participants are to take an examination consisting of all the topics covered during the course. In order to complete the certification, the participants have to complete all assignments given by the faculty satisfactorily and score above the cut-off marks in the examination. The cut-off marks will be declared by the faculty at the commencement of the course.

Note: The topics covered in class may vary to a reasonable degree from what is enumerated in the curriculum at the discretion of the faculty. This is to ensure that the course is relevant to the latest development in the industry and addresses specific requirements and interests of the batch.

The course is delivered through a series of lectures, demonstrations, hands-on assignments and exercises.

  1. The candidate must have a minimum qualification of a Graduation Degree
  2. The candidate may have 1 to 3 years of work experience, but freshers are also welcome
  3. Promoters, Business Owners and Entrepreneurs can join
  4. Basic level of comfort in using computers, email and internet is required.
  5. Participants are expected to have their own laptops and bring them to class for effective participation in hands-on sessions. Internet connection will be provided by the institute.
